Mrs. Kara Parker
Second Grade Teacher
We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Kara Parker to the Tyndale faculty as our new Second Grade Teacher!
Mrs. Parker comes to us with a rich and varied background in education, leadership, and public service. Most recently, she served as Interim Headmaster at Immanuel Lutheran School, where she led a community of 180 students and 23 faculty members. Prior to that, she taught first grade for three years, bringing a classical approach to subjects ranging from theology and literature to science and art.
Before entering the field of education, Mrs. Parker spent almost a decade serving our nation in strategic roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Department of Defense, specializing in Middle East and Africa analysis and leading multidisciplinary teams in national security work.
Mrs. Parker holds a Master of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University.
With a deep commitment to classical education and a unique perspective shaped by international experience and leadership, Mrs. Parker brings a steady hand, a sharp mind, and a heart for young learners. We are excited for the joy and depth she will bring to our second grade classroom.
