Miss. Megan Borrego

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Megan Borrego joins the faculty as our first grade teacher. With a strong background in early childhood and elementary education, Mrs. Borrego brings a wealth of experience, a passion for literacy, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Mrs. Borrego holds both a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. She is an accomplished educator with expertise in Orton-Gillingham, Math In Focus/Singapore Math, Shurley English, Readers and Writers’ Workshop, and other research-based instructional methods.

Her teaching experience includes positions at Wesleyan School and Heritage Preparatory School, where she has successfully led instruction in classical and faith-based learning environments. She has experience working with students in multiple grade levels, designing engaging lessons, and fostering strong relationships with students and families. Additionally, Mrs. Borrego has contributed to student life through coaching Varsity Track and Field and leading extracurricular programs.

Mrs. Borrego and her husband are moving to the DC area this summer. We are thrilled to welcome her to our team and look forward to the energy and expertise she will bring to our students and school community!
